Our new clinic offering, Defenders that Create Offense, is a progressive new clinic series Mad Dog is offering for defenseman that want to improve their ability to clear under pressure and create offense in transition. We will deliver a high energy skill based workout, that is designed to get your heart rate up.. Your muscles will burn. You will sweat like crazy. You will love it. 

Clinic Staff:

  • Ryan Horsch, Monmouth Univ.
  • Sean Cunningham, FDU, Manasquan HS

Dates & Times: Sundays *5-6 PM, on 12/17, 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4. *Participants should arrive 30 minutes early to stretch and warm up. 

Cost: $35 for one session, $150 for 5, $250 for 10. 

Ages:  HS and Experienced Middle School Boys Only

Clinic Features: 

  • 3 - 1 player to ball bucket ratio. More efficient use of time, more balls per player then any other clinic around to maximize rep count. 
  • 4 Escape Ground Ball Variations 
  • "Quick Cradle" Ground balls
  • 4 step progression of understanding the footwork of the escape ground ball and cross field pass. 
  • 4 Shooting on the run progressions.
  • Carrying the ball over midfield. Escaping pressure & when to do to the goal. 
  • All participants should arrive at the facility 30 minutes before the start of their session, so you can warm up, stretch out and step on the field ready to max out your rep count.

Shooting Factory Participants Will Need: 

  • To be extremely punctual and have a drive to maximize their rep count. We need all participants to contribute to the high energy atmosphere we want at these workouts. 
  • Helmet, gloves and a stick. Have your stick ready to go before you arrive. Do not waste reps adjusting your stick during the clinic. 
  • Footwear: Sneakers 
  • Make sure you are well hydrated prior to the start of this workout. 
  • Bring a water bottle with you that you can keep at your shooting station.
